(MSG) is a people focused, award-winning, full-service consulting firm that offers a wide array of services including civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, planning, landscape architecture, agriculture, surveying and construction support. Our talented staff of more than 650+ professionals deliver integrated planning, design, engineering and construction solutions. Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Project Accountant! We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, pro-active, has good organizational and time management skills. Prior experience with an Architecture or Engineering firm is preferred. Construction industry candidates will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Maintenance of contract information, which includes, but is not limited to maintaining accurate files of client and subcontractors agreements. Will work closely with Project Managers & Principals in preparation of project budgets and other pertinent contract information. Responsible for setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vantagepoint accounting software. Works closely with the Project Managers tracking monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders. This may require visiting other offices on occasion. Provides assistance to Project Managers and Corporate Leadership in account collections, receivables and payables. Works closely with clients and subcontractor's accounting departments. Other accounting responsibilities may include accounts payable & unit entry. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Accounting or Finance degree preferred. 3+ years accounting experience, Architecture or Engineering preferred. Construction or professional service firms experience will be considered. Proficiency with accounting software packages, Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint, Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to work independently and be deadline driven. Detail-oriented problem solver. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Strong analytical skills. Benefits The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
