3008164465-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Wallick Communities seeks a Corporate Accountant to support its growing real estate, construction, and development portfolio. In this role, you will manage full-cycle accounting for development and construction projects, including job cost tracking, general ledger maintenance, and timely month-end close. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, reconcile accounts, and support audits and lender reporting. Partnering with development, construction, and operations teams, you'll provide financial insights that guide project decisions, ensure GAAP compliance, and help advance Wallick's mission of affordable housing. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting for construction and development projects Maintain general ledger and perform month-end close activities Track and analyze job costs for real estate development projects Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for projects and entities Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis Support audits, lender, and investor reporting requirements Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Collaborate with development, construction, and operations teams Identify process improvements and support system efficiencies Required Skills GAAP accounting Construction accounting Job cost accounting Real estate development accounting Financial reporting General ledger management Budgeting and forecasting Variance analysis Accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Sage Intacct) Excel (pivot tables, lookups)
