Job Details SUMMARY:
To assist in the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department.
SUPERVISOR
Accounting Manager
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Review check request and invoice for proper account coding and supervisor approval. Manual Checks into the Account Payable system as required. Enter assigned month-end journal entries Assist in preparation of monthly Bank Reconciliations. Assist in preparation of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the agency program budgets. Prepare financial reports for department managers as needed. Perform other duties as needed. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. The Duties and Responsibilities above represent the most significant duties of this position, but do not exclude other assignments that would be within the qualification and responsibility levels of this position. Requirements Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform work required with minimal supervision. Experience in use of personal computers, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Must be bondable if required. Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Working towards Bachelors of Science in Accounting preferred.
