Accountant

Accountant We are seeking a full-time Accountant to support key financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, accounts payable, payroll support, and cash management. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, collaborative professional who has a heart to serve others and support the mission of the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and perform GL account analysis
• Reconcile external systems to QuickBooks
• Process program-related entries
• Manage cash activities: deposits, check register, bank reconciliations, and ACH payments
• Process AP invoices, vendor setup, expense reimbursements, and check runs
• Communicate with vendors, resolve AP issues, review statements, and manage W9/1099 tasks
• Review semi-monthly payroll, prepare payroll JE, and serve as backup to Payroll Coordinator
• Maintain fixed assets records
• Build strong working relationships across the Accounting team and the organization Qualifications
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background check, credit check, and complete Protecting God's Children training
• Experience with QuickBooks Online

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
