Job Description

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Enter and process vendor invoices accurately in the accounting system. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. Maintain vendor records, accounts payable reports, and supporting files. Communicate with vendors to address inquiries in a professional manner. Prepare, print, and distribute checks, including obtaining necessary approvals. Assist with month-end close tasks related to accounts payable. Support financial audits by providing documentation and reports. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements. Perform light administrative duties and other tasks as assigned .
Qualifications:
Previous accounts payable experience strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Problem-solving mindset with attention to accuracy and detail. Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities. Commitment to following company policies and procedures.

Pay Details:
