Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health and integrity of our organization by managing a wide range of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a passion for accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an integral part of our team, you will support financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency while working with QuickBooks financial software and systems. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using QuickBooks financial software. Conduct detailed account analysis and perform month-end closing activities to ensure timely financial reporting. Reconcile complex accounts including the general ledger, bank statements, and subsidiary ledgers while identifying discrepancies and resolving issues efficiently. Handle confidential information with integrity and maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions. Support payroll management tasks such as data entry in payroll systems and ensure accurate payroll and contract labor processing. Utilize Excel data analysis skills for financial modeling, reporting, and data entry tasks involving spreadsheets and accounting systems. Qualifications Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting principles. Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms QuickBook. Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining high levels of integrity. Excellent communication skills coupled with customer service orientation when interacting with internal teams or external vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management; experience with accounting software integrations is a plus.

Pay:
$38,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year
