full-time Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Accountant based in Springfield, Oregon. This position is ideal for an experienced Staff Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career into more of a Senior Accountant role. Working closely with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and CFO, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities while expanding your technical skills and taking on projects that will prepare you for future advancement. Modern office environment with outstanding employee amenities and benefits. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Support the preparation of financial statements and management reporting. Analyze financial results and research account variances. Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with process improvements and workflow enhancements. Support audit preparation and financial review activities. Participate in ERP and reporting improvement initiatives. Collaborate with departments across the organization to support business operations. Cross-train and provide support across multiple accounting functions. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred. Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will also be considered. 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Solid understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting. Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Exposure to audit support or public accounting is a plus. Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or product-based industry experience is helpful but not required. Experience working within an ERP system. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
