Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Service Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, recipes, and portion standards. Ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and at proper serving temperatures. Accommodate resident dietary needs, including special diets, allergies, and texture modifications. Present food attractively and consistently, following Mosaic dining standards. Step in to assist with plating, garnishing, and serving during peak dining times. Provide courteous, respectful, and personalized service to residents and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and fostering positive relationships Kitchen Cleanliness & Sanitation Clean and maintain the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces. Follow Mosaic's cleaning schedules and infection control standards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Ability to prepare a variety of foods skillfully and efficiently. Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Prior experience working with therapeutic or specialized diets. ServSafe, Food Handlers or equivalent food safety certification.
