Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in a full-time capacity. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to support our accounting operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and contribute to the overall financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, familiarity with various financial software, and a passion for maintaining precise and confidential financial data. Duties Perform monthly bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop Assist with preparation and review of financial statements Assist with quarterly and annual payroll tax compliance Prepare and file state and local sales tax returns Assist clients with business registrations, licenses, renewals, and other compliance requirements Maintain accurate client accounting and compliance records Communicate with clients to obtain missing accounting, payroll, and tax information Assist with corporate tax return preparation during tax season , including S Corporations, C Corporations, and Partnerships Assist with individual Form 1040 tax preparation during tax season Organize tax workpapers and supporting documentation Assist senior accountants with tax research and client projects Perform other accounting, payroll, tax, and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Basic understanding of accounting principles Experience or familiarity with QuickBooks Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines Good organizational and problem-solving skills Professional attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Join us in this vital role where your expertise will directly impact our financial integrity! $62,145.29 - $64,998.49 per year
