Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple accounting tasks, meeting critical deadlines, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This position is well-suited for an accounting professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and takes pride in producing accurate work. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare sales tax and other regulatory filings as required. Support tax preparation and work closely with tax professionals. Process payroll and related payroll tax filings. Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of all accounting and reporting requirements. Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues. Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Desired Traits Highly dependable and accountable. Strong analytical mindset. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
