Staff Accountant Anchor Seals | Coraopolis, PA | On-site About the Role Anchor Seals is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for one of our operating entities. You'll report directly to the Controller and play a key part in keeping our books accurate and our month-end close on track. This position requires the majority of work to be performed in person at our Coraopolis, Pennsylvania office. What You'll Do Perform general accounting duties within the accounting department Prepare monthly financial statements Maintain the general ledger and close the books monthly Code invoices, set up new accounts and projects, and reconcile accounts Reconcile bank accounts and verify deposits Support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions Maintain customer accounts Verify invoice payments and ensure they are charged to the appropriate accounts and projects Perform other related duties as assigned What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of two years of accounting experience Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite Ability to read and analyze financial reports Strong multitasking skills and the ability to balance competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with EstiTrack software CPA or CMA certification Experience in a growth-oriented business What We Offer Competitive salary Multiple UPMC Health Plan options Dental insurance (shared cost) Short-term and long-term disability Life insurance 401(k) with 3% company contribution Annual profit-sharing program Ready to join us?
