Type:
full-time Project Accountant - Up to $95k Our client, a well established government contractor, is hiring a Project Accountant to join its growing finance team. This individual will manage the financial administration of multiple projects from initial setup through completion while partnering closely with Project Management, Operations, Contracts, and Finance.

Onsite Responsibilities:
Manage project setup, maintenance, funding changes, and contract modifications Track project budgets, actuals, remaining funding, margins, and profitability Support billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, WIP, accrued/unbilled revenue, and reconciliations Partner with Project Managers on labor, expenses, forecasts, and project financial performance Support EAC/ETC analysis and project forecasting Assist with month-end close and project-related journal entries Help improve project accounting processes and procedures
Qualifications:
5-7+ years of project accounting or project finance experience Experience managing multiple complex, larger-dollar and/or long-duration projects Strong understanding of project billing, revenue recognition, WIP, and profitability Government contracting, DCAA, and/or FAR experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits:
