Job Description

​The Keenan Group, a public accounting firm located in downtown Greensburg, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Senior Accountant position. This position offers an opportunity for advancement based on performance. We believe that a good balance of work and personal life is important. We work in a professional atmosphere in a comfortable office building with cutting edge technology. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm with Saturdays as needed in tax season, however we do offer a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Preparing individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns Preparing financial statements Maintain a positive working relationship with clients Directly communicate and advise clients Ensuring monthly, quarterly and year end reports prepared accurately and on time Additional responsibilities will also be assigned based on experience. Successful candidates must have a high standard of accuracy and precision, be detail oriented, reliable, display a strong work ethic, positive attitude, strong time management and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Upon starting, you will receive comprehensive training from The Keenan Group professionals. You will have full access to all levels of the firm, including partners - for any questions. ​ Qualifications (Minimum): ​Four year degree in Accounting or Finance Three years of experience preparing individual and business income tax returns, and/or preparing financial statements audits/reviews/compilations in the governmental, non-profit, manufacturing and construction industries. Experience with QuickBooks Online Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word ​ Qualifications (Preferred): ​Certified Public Accountant Experience with UltraTax tax preparation software ​
