Job Description

Staff Accountant Titan Hotel Group is in search of a driven, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. In this role you would be responsible for preparing property P&L's, reconciling balance sheet accounts as well as performing month end duties and projects assigned across multiple hotel properties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review financial data for accuracy and reconciling balance sheet activity including cash, prepaid, sales tax payable, mortgage payable, escrows, etc. Prepare and file state and local sales and occupancy tax returns Reconcile subledger activities for A/R and A/P. Collaborate with property accountants on variances and record adjusting entries to general ledger. Create EOM reporting package for multiple hotel properties. Contribute to audits by working with Corporate Controller and finance team by meeting goals and delivering results. Work with internal and external customers in a professional manner. Adhere to accounting principles for integrity in results. Other duties as assigned. Position Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of proven balance sheet work experience in medium to large company industry
  • Minimum three (3) years of direct experience with preparing P&L's and reporting analytics to executive leadership
  • Four year college degree in business or accounting from an accredited university or associated degree with required work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, TEAMS and MS Office Knowledge of M3 accounting system a plus, but not required
  • Hotel accounting experience preferred
  • Must be honest, dependable and accountable Must work well with multiple priorities including internal and external customers Excellent communication skills
