Job Description

Blair HealthChoices is a 501(c)3 organization created to manage individuals on medical assistance in need of behavioral health services in Blair County. The Accountant is a position with the primary responsibilities to oversee the budgeting and accounting systems to ensure compliance with all aspects of the HealthChoices Program. This includes managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and taking responsibility for the organization's financial health. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Minimum Experience and Training:
  • A minimum of an Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience required.
Leadership:
demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
    Planning:
    ability to think ahead and plan both in short-term and long-term time spans.
      Management:
      ability to independently organize and manage multiple priorities.
      • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Ability to prepare written reports and letters that are well organized, read easily, and clearly communicate the objectives of the documents.
      • Knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks.
      Pay:
      $49,300.00 - $66,700.00 per year
