Staff Accountant Responsibilities The Staff Accountant will prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items. Assist with year-end reporting, financial consolidations, and audit preparation. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Analyze financial data and maintain accurate general ledger records. The Staff Accountant will utilize Microsoft Excel to create and maintain reports using PivotTables and VLOOKUPs. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with financial analysts and the accounting team to support daily accounting operations. Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant Role Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred. Previous experience with account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit support. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop strongly preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs . Team player with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
