Job Description

Achieve more with Volt Volt is immediately hiring an Investment Accountant in Pittsburgh, PA. Global Organization, Job Advancement, Join Our Team. In the Investment Accountant role you will: Support the full accounting cycle, including transaction processing, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and account reconciliations. The individual will prepare journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The position also partners with cross-functional teams to support audits, special projects, reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives. Additionally, the successful candidate will gain exposure to ERP systems, financial system enhancements, performance metrics, and global business operations while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. This is a full-time, temp to permanent opportunity. The hours would be from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 4 days onsite.

The ideal candidate will have:

Strong understanding of general accounting principles, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes. Experience preparing accruals, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting schedules. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting audits, process improvements, and special projects is preferred. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, finance, or a related field 1-3+ years of fund accounting, financial reporting, or corporate finance experience.

Pay Rate:

$35.00 to $50.00 PER HOUR.
