Process and code a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently The AP Accountant will review invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation Maintain vendor accounts and respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues The AP Accountant will perform vendor statement and account reconciliations Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments The AP Accountant will maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation Work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure invoices are properly approved and processed Assist with construction-related accounting projects and other duties as neededQUALIFICATIONS OF THE AP ACCOUNTANT ROLE
2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience Previous construction accounting experience preferred Experience working with an ERP or accounting software system Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines EB-6403789020Benefits
