A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and provide timely financial reporting to leadership. Responsibilities Maintain and manage accounting records within Sage 100 Prepare and provide weekly financial reports and updates to leadership Record and reconcile company expenses Manage accounts payable processes, including commission payments to business partners Monitor ACH transactions and ensure accurate recording of automated payments Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Create and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports to support business operations Work closely with the Accounts Receivable team regarding customer billing and software renewal revenue Support external payroll and benefits administration vendors by providing necessary accounting information and reports Answer and direct incoming phone calls as needed Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of financial information Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience Experience with Sage 100 preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles Knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet skills Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines The ideal candidate is someone who can serve as a trusted accounting resource for the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, providing meaningful weekly financial insights, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
