Job Description

SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for leading our social enterprise's financial operations, overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for month-end and year-end closing processes and reports. Responsible for yearly financial and grant audits. Oversee corporate accounting functions including general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage treasury operations and cash flow analysis to optimize liquidity and financial stability. Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Direct risk analysis initiatives, including risk management practices related to financial concepts, compliance, and operational and business vulnerabilities. Responsible for budgeting and cost control measures to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency. Prepare detailed financial reports, interpret financial statements, and communicate insights to executive leadership and Board of Directors for strategic decision-making. Supervise and mentor team members responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable. Collaborate with executive team members to identify growth opportunities through financial and market trends analysis. Manage the company's compliance with local and federal regulatory matters Other duties as assigned by the
CEO. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for the management of the accounting team. Participate in the hiring, training, organization and scheduling of subordinate employees. Provide instructions, orders and timecard approvals for subordinate employees. Conduct performance evaluations in a constructive manner, ensuring subordinates meet expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication, written and verbal, and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial team-player with excellent judgement, problem solving, and multitasking capabilities. Able to positively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives. Task and results oriented with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision. Hold regular communication meetings with department personnel. Detailed knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Follow all NCSS, Inc.

2015 Quality Management System procedures. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Complete all other duties, tasks, and responsibilities assigned by the President/CEO.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum of five years of accounting experience.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Extensive professional experience in senior accounting leadership roles within diverse sectors, including non-profit organizations or corporate environments. Proven expertise in GAAP standards, and regulatory reporting requirements. Strong background in corporate accounting, risk analysis, and cash flow. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex financial environments with a focus on compliance management. Experience with financial software systems used for general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliation and cash flow analysis. Exceptional analytical skills Excellent leadership qualities with a focus on fostering collaborative team environments while maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.

Pay:
$84,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
