Onsite Responsibilities Support day-to-day accounting operations related to OEM manufacturing activities, including accurate financial transaction processing, maintaining accounting records, and assisting with month-end close, inventory accounting, and project-based revenue tracking.
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and standard recurring entries.
Maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, collections follow-up, and cash applications.
Support accounting for customer-specific equipment builds and engineered-to-order projects, tracking costs, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition.
Assist in inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventory adjustments, standard cost updates, and reconcile inventory subledger to general ledger.
Prepare supporting schedules for internal financial reporting packages and assist in variance analysis for manufacturing costs and project margins.
Support audit requests and ensure adherence to policies, GAAP standards, and internal controls. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
0-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Oracle, Infor Visual 9) required; Infor Visual 9 ERP highly desired.
Strong understanding of GAAP, job costing, project accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost structures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills across finance and operations teams.
Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, with occasional site visits and safety awareness.
