$60,000•$80,000 per year Job Details•We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a entry level professional to grow their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial operations, contributing to our overall financial strategy and helping to drive the success of our business.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: Processing all Accounts Payable including approval, entry and posting. Completing all related reporting. Processing all Accounts Receivable including check deposit, billing, and journal entries. Performing account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of all financial data. Preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline accounting processes and procedures. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in accounting/ finance. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports. Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
