Accountant

Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting. Responsibilities can vary over time but may include but not limited to: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and general ledger entries Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Process payroll and monitor expenses as needed Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting 1-5 years of accounting experience (varies by level) Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP preferred) Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) Strong Microsoft Excel skills High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Salary depends upon experience
