Accounting Associate - Investment Management We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support the accounting and administrative functions of an investment management company. The company manages multiple offshore life settlement funds, so strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate is highly organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented, with the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with others and following up as needed to ensure that payments, records, and other important details are handled accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Update and maintain general ledger records for multiple funds Record and submit invoices for payment to appropriate offshore administrators Notify offshore administrators of insurance claims Process insurance claim checks and related tax cost basis reports Request premium funding and process premium payments Assist with bimonthly VAT reporting and quarterly ECB reporting Maintain and update Excel files Assist with reconciliations and other routine accounting tasks Maintain accurate and organized records and supporting documentation Provide administrative and operational support to the fund management team Organize company files and documentation Assist with year-end audit and other fund-related projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in accounting Professional with strong communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Strong research and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify discrepancies and determine appropriate next steps. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and follow-up activities simultaneously. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information. $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
