Summary of Position:

The accounting intern is responsible for providing support to assist in the daily activities of the accounting department which includes monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts, support of internal and external audits, participation in the monthly financial close, and other ad hoc reporting requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Junior or Senior in a 4-year UniversityCollege major in accountingCompletion of core accounting coursesBasic understanding of financial principlesSelf-starter and strong team playerProficient in Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteEffective communication skills and the ability to work well with others
