Qualifications:
Higher degree in accounting or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience, ideally in public accounting, but we value diverse backgrounds and skillsets." Experience with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online Previous experience in public accounting preferred but not required Effective problem solving, critical thinking, research, written and verbal communication skills. Able to multitask and cope with changing work pressure and meet deadlines that will require overtime Exemplary customer service skills Must be able to work in both a team environment as well as self-manage Able to take direction, use good judgement and tact Able to prioritize while working on multiple projects simultaneously Able to work overtime as needed Flexible schedule - some longer days and weekend work required during peak deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development Experience with multi-state payroll processing, including compliance with state and federal regulations, is preferred
