Position Overview Title:

Tax Experienced Staff Salary:

$65,000

• $90,000 per year

Type:

Full-Time Schedule:

Monday

• Friday, 9:00 AM
• 6:00 PM (Flextime)

Setting:

Hybrid (In-office once a week)

• Responsibilities
• Perform general accounting and/or tax-related tasks
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Support corporate tax filings and compliance
• Communicate with Japanese and English-speaking clients and team members
• Collaborate with senior staff and managers on various engagements
• Other duties as assigned

• Qualifications Required:

• Bilingual in Japanese and English (business level)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
• 1 to 3 years of accounting or tax experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Preferred:

• Experience with U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. corporate tax
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills
• CPA candidate or interest in pursuing CPA
