We are seeking a hands-on Controller to own our accounting, reporting, and financial analysis as we prepare for our next strategic transaction within the next 6 months. Position Summary The Controller will produce accurate, timely monthly GAAP financial statements across our multi-entity structure, prepare month-to-month quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, and deliver the operating metrics leadership uses to run the business. Your work will be reviewed by third-party diligence and audit firms, so accuracy and defensibility are essential. Key Responsibilities Own the monthly close and deliver GAAP accrual-basis financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for all entities, with consolidated reporting Manage multi-entity accounting, including DSO/PC structure, management service agreement (MSA) fees, and intercompany eliminations Prepare monthly quality of earnings analysis: normalized EBITDA, owner/one-time add-backs, and supporting schedules Build and maintain a monthly KPI dashboard: customer acquisition cost (CAC), average sales price (ASP), arches completed, case acceptance, revenue and EBITDA by location, and marketing ROI Serve as the primary finance contact for third-party QoE, audit, and due diligence firms (e.g., BDO); prepare and maintain the data room Reconcile patient financing, deposits, and deferred revenue; ensure proper revenue recognition Oversee bookkeeping staff and outside CPAs; establish internal controls and close checklists Provide budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow analysis to leadership Qualifications Active CPA license (required) 7+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting audit or transaction advisory (Big 4, BDO, or similar strongly preferred) Hands-on experience preparing or supporting quality of earnings reports and M&A due diligence Strong GAAP knowledge and multi-entity consolidation experience Advanced QuickBooks Online and Excel skills Healthcare, dental, or DSO experience preferred Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable reporting directly to ownership Compensation Base salary: $140,000 per year Performance bonus: up to $30,000 per year, paid monthly, tied to the company achieving profit/EBITDA above a set monthly threshold Schedule & Location Full-time, Monday to
