Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to fill anewly created Corporate Intercompany Accountant opening with a rapidly growing company based in Troy, Michigan. Requirements of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting 5+ years of relevant accounting experience CPA license or public accounting experience is preferred Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes. Accounting experience within a multi-entity manufacturing company is a plus Featured Benefits of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant Excellent salary + bonus and opportunity for equity Competitive benefits and paid time-off program Hybrid working arrangements Opportunity for future promotion Responsibilities of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant Manage Intercompany Transactions and Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations- Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process. Support Month End and Year End Close Processes Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance
- Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams. Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts
- Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Contribute to ERP Implementation
- Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes. Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures
- Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency. Support Public Company Readiness
- Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements. Drive Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.
