Job Description

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe're seeking a Cost Accountant-Manufacturing with a strong core background in manufacturing cost accounting-someone experienced in cost setup, analytics, and navigating a production environment. This role is heavily focused on cost accounting ( about 75%), including BOM maintenance, variance analysis (actual vs. FIFO), overhead absorption, cost allocation, and WIP/inventory reconciliation, with additional responsibilities in month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting (about 25%). You'll partner closely with operations and production teams to analyze manufacturing performance, support budgeting and forecasting, drive cost accuracy, and contribute to pricing and cost-reduction initiatives. If you enjoy digging into data, building cost structures from the ground up, and partnering cross-functionally with operations and production teams-this is the role for you.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Hands-on cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (required) Strong understanding of inventory flow, BOMs, and manufacturing cost structures Experience with ERP systems (Business Central, Printvis a plus) Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, WIP reconciliation, and cost allocation
Hours :
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, hours can be flexible Additional hours required during month-end, year-end close, and audit periods After 6 months of employment will move to a hybrid schedule
