Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to build a strong foundation in accounting while working alongside experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules Help maintain organized financial records and documentation Assist with invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment runs Support the team during audits by gathering requested documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent progress toward one) 1-2 years of relevant experience (internships apply) Working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or NetSuite) is a plus Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Nice to Have Progress toward CPA, ACCA, or other professional certification Wine Industry Experience Familiarity with DtC (direct to consumer) industry
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$27.00-$31.00/Hour One remote workday per week may be available after the successful completion of the 90-day introductory period, subject to business needs and manager approval.
