Destination:
Progress. As a lead accountant on the Corporate HR Control and Employee Accounting team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our HR department. Your responsibilities will include reviewing Benefits Accounting monthly journal entries as well as completing and reviewing account reconciliations related to benefits and payroll taxes. You'll provide monthly financial oversight of companywide employee benefits expenses. Additionally, you'll support other recurring monthly/quarterly expense reporting needs for Corporate HR and Worker's Compensation. This is a remote role requiring occasional travel for meetings and/or training. Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and a minimum of six years of accounting work experience, with at least four years in corporate or public accounting. Preferred skills Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills Ability to identify and communicate accounting and financial reporting issues to management timely and concisely Highly proficient and comfortable with extensive use of Excel Experience coaching and mentoring lower-level accounting staff or interns Compensation $89,600-$119,500/year Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings, based on company performance.
