Job Description

The Los Angeles office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service national law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is seeking a Legal Malpractice and Accountants Malpractice Partner to join its growing practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with a strong background in legal malpractice and accountants malpractice defense to assume a leadership role within a nationally recognized firm. The ideal candidate will bring strategic litigation experience, strong leadership and mentoring skills, and a commitment to exceptional client service. Portable business is welcomed but not required. Responsibilities Lead, grow, and oversee the Legal Malpractice, Accountants Malpractice, and Professional Liability practice Handle complex defense matters through all phases of litigation Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients Mentor and supervise associates and business professionals Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities Qualifications Admission to the California State Bar required 10+ years of legal malpractice and accountants malpractice defense experience Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred Experience representing accounting professionals in state and federal courts, before professional organization committees, and in regulatory proceedings Strong understanding of accounting and auditing documents and financial statements Why Join Kaufman Dolowich? Base Salary Range:
$200,000-$300,000 Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer. Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate's experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary is only one component of Kaufman Dolowich's comprehensive Total Rewards package, which also includes a discretionary and billable-hours-based bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees. We offer flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and fully remote options. The specific arrangement will be determined in collaboration with you, based on your experience, responsibilities, and team needs.
