$75,000-$85,000

Why You'll Love Working Here as a Property Accountant Hybrid work environment offering flexibility Ownership of a designated multifamily property portfolio Financially stable organization with long-term career growth opportunities Direct exposure to leadership and property operations teams Supportive and collaborative accounting department Opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements Competitive compensation, strong benefits, retirement plan, and generous PTO Key Responsibilities of the Property Accountant Manage the full-cycle accounting function for an assigned portfolio of multifamily properties as the Property Accountant Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules as the Property Accountant Complete month-end close activities, including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations as the Property Accountant Monitor cash balances, forecast cash requirements, and oversee property banking activities as the Property Accountant Calculate management fees, owner distributions, accruals, and reclassification entries as the Property Accountant Partner with on-site Property Management teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting as the Property Accountant Analyze monthly operating results and provide financial insights and recommendations to leadership as the Property Accountant Track lender escrows, replacement reserves, debt service obligations, and related property accounting activities as the Property Accountant Assist with budgets, forecasting, audits, acquisitions, dispositions, and special projects as the Property Accountant Qualifications for the Property Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required Minimum of 3 years of property accounting experience, with multifamily experience strongly preferred Experience managing the complete accounting cycle for multiple properties Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparation, month-end close, and account reconciliations Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar property accounting platforms Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting preferred CPA or active CPA candidate is a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements Benefits & Growth Hybrid work schedule Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Collaborative and supportive team culture Long-term career growth within a growing real estate organization EB-5368888710
