well established real estate investment and management firm is seeking a Commercial Property Accountant to join its growing accounting team. The organization specializes in retail shopping centers and manages a large, diverse portfolio. You'll be joining a collaborative and tenured accounting team within a stable organization, offering strong onboarding, ongoing support, and a culture that values connection through regular team events and social activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounting for a portfolio of 6-9 retail shopping centers Prepare full-cycle financial statements during month-end close Perform CAM reconciliations and related analysis Review and interpret lease agreements (no abstracting required) Partner with property managers and ownership on budgeting, reporting, and issue resolution Handle ongoing financial analysis and ad hoc projects

Required:

3-5+ years of commercial property accounting experience Retail real estate experience

REQUIRED

Experience with CAM reconciliations Familiarity with MRI or Yardi Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines
