Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager Autel Energy - North America Established in 2004, Autel quickly became one of the world's leading providers of intelligent automotive products and services. GENERAL:
The Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day financial operations for the Company's North America business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable tax regulations, and effective coordination with Headquarters ("HQ") and local business leadership. This role will serve as a key business partner supporting operational, accounting, tax, and financial planning activities across the region. The ideal candidate is a hands-on individual contributor capable of managing accounting operations, consolidations, reporting, and compliance responsibilities while driving process improvements and supporting future organizational growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Operations & Accounting Oversee daily accounting operations for North America, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, and Tax processes. Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee monthly account reconciliations. Manage monthly close activities and consolidation processes in accordance with established reporting timelines. Own quarterly and annual consolidation activities for North America operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Equity. Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to HQ and local management teams. Tax & Compliance Manage North America tax compliance processes, including U.S. federal and state filings, Canadian tax requirements, GST/HST filings, and cross-border withholding tax matters. Coordinate with external tax advisors and support responses to tax authority inquiries and documentation requests. Collaborate with HQ finance and tax teams to support transfer pricing compliance and execution of Group transfer pricing strategies. Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and applicable financial regulations. Business Partnership & Operational Support Communicate regularly with HQ Finance teams to execute open financial and operational items. Partner with local business leadership to support financial requirements associated with sales and operational activities. Support North America inventory management processes and collaborate with warehouse and operational teams to improve visibility and controls. Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Accounting teams on strategic initiatives, legal entity changes, and process enhancements. Audit & Process Improvement Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities, including interim and year-end audits. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency within the accounting and close cycle. Support the development of scalable financial processes to support continued organizational growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, international accounting principles, and applicable financial regulations. Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and financial reporting. Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian tax compliance requirements, including indirect tax and cross-border tax considerations. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and accountability. English and Mandarin proficiency required for business communication.
