Remote working opportunities (1-2 days work from home) Amazing collaborative team culture About Our Client I'm partnered with the CFO at a multi-billion dollar, manufacturing organization located near Roselle, IL. This company is one of the largest businesses in North America in their niche market and is growing through acquisitions. They're now looking to bring on a Senior Accountant to their Corporate team to oversee multi-entity financial reporting. In this role, you'll report directly to the Director of Accounting and take ownership of key accounting functions. You'll support all the entities underneath the parent company and gain great experience in the consolidations field
Job Description Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close duties Perform consolidation checks Assist with maintaining the general ledger Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP Identify process improvements and procedures Collaborate with business units to develop company cash reconciliation Assist with inter-company out-of-balance reconciliation process Provide accounting support when needed MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Senior Accountant Requirements:
