OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to take ownership of lease accounting and support key financial processes. This role will play a critical part in the month-end close, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, with a strong focus on ASC 842. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into technical accounting, improving processes, and collaborating across departments.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full-cycle lease accounting under ASC 842, including initial setup, modifications, remeasurements, and terminations The Senior Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes through journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records Perform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership to support business decisions The Senior Accountant will act as the subject matter expert for lease accounting and assist with internal and external audit requests

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 842 Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) Experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion and LeaseQuery a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills EB-1443130883
