Full Job Description Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant for our non-profit client on a project basis. This role is hybrid out of St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
Lead detailed financial and operational analyses across multiple business functions to identify cost savings, process efficiencies, and control enhancements. Analyze corporate credit card activity to evaluate spending patterns by cardholder, department, vendor, and business purpose. Conduct comprehensive reviews of freight, shipping, postage, mailing, and distribution expenditures. Maintain and analyze inventories of office equipment and organizational assets. Perform detailed analyses of labor, materials, freight, equipment, and other direct departmental costs. Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 7+ years of relevant non-profit experience Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
