The role This is a varied position where you'll split your time between accounting, tax, and client advisory work. You'll manage your own portfolio while collaborating closely with senior leadership on more complex engagements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and reviewing individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns. Preparing financial statements, compilations, reviews, and supporting workpapers. Assisting clients with month-end and year-end accounting matters. Working directly with business owners to answer accounting and tax questions throughout the year. Performing account reconciliations and financial analysis. Supporting tax planning projects and researching technical tax issues. Mentoring junior staff and reviewing work where appropriate. Helping identify opportunities to improve client processes and add value beyond compliance. What they're looking for 3-6+ years of experience in public accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA qualified or actively pursuing the designation is preferred. Experience preparing business and individual tax returns. Exposure to financial statement preparation, compilations, or reviews. Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients. Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple engagements. Experience with QuickBooks, CCH, UltraTax, Thomson Reuters, or similar accounting and tax software is beneficial.
