Job Description:
Addison Group is partnering with a publicly traded, global manufacturing company to identify a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their technical accounting experience within a large, complex organization. You'll play a key role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and cross-functional initiatives while partnering with finance and operations leaders across the business.
Location:
Hybrid (Tuesday-Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote) Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliations Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide meaningful insights Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain general ledger integrity Manage accounting for fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other key balance sheet accounts Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information Assist with internal and external audits Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company policies Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency Support special projects and other corporate accounting initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of
U.S. GAAP
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills CPA or CPA-eligible preferred Public accounting and/or large corporate accounting experience preferred Experience with large ERP systems is a plus Why Join?
