full-time Addison Group is partnering with a multibillion-dollar, publicly traded industry leader to identify a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This is a unique rotational accounting opportunity offering exposure across several areas of the business, including Revenue Accounting, Project Accounting, and General Accounting. The position will play an active role in the monthly close while also supporting accounting analysis, special projects, process improvements, and the accounting treatment of new or complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and support key aspects of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reporting, investigate variances and trends, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate adjustments or process enhancements. Research and assist with determining the appropriate accounting treatment for new or non-routine transactions in accordance with

U.S. GAAP.

Maintain and support SOX controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve existing processes. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, leveraging technology to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounting and reporting processes. Support special projects related to accounting, reporting, regulatory requirements, system enhancements, and other business initiatives. Partner with internal and external auditors and assist with audit and regulatory requests.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and SOX/internal controls Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex accounting issues Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across multiple teams Ability to manage multiple priorities in a large, fast-paced organization

Compensation & Benefits:
