Job Description:

A client of ours with operations spread across the country is looking to add an Accountant to the group - newly created role due to growth! This role will be almost entirely REMOTE, but could involve light travel at times to the various operating sites. The ideal candidate will be someone that enjoys being a team player. This role will assist on some operational accounting tasks, play a major part in the monthly close process, and likely get into forecasting & budgeting as well in addition to plenty of other responsibilities. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries on a weekly basis. Assist during monthly, quarterly, and annual close. Analyze monthly financial & operational reports. Collaborate with not only Accounting/Finance leadership, but Operational leadership. Analyze the monthly financials for variances & potential errors. Assist with the annual audit process. Continue to drive the build out of all financial reporting, KPI's, and more. Qualifications 3-5+ years of related experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred, but not required Any exposure to Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, or similar industries is ideal. Must be able to adapt daily to the upcoming changes that will arise with the growth plan for the organization as a whole.
