We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Audit team to:

Be responsible for the completion of compilation, review and audit engagementsExamine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies and applicable lawsPrepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies and prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagementsIn-charge staff on client engagements and perform a first level review of staff assigned workDemonstrate the ability to efficiently research audit topics of intermediate complexityAssist in developing and coaching professional staffHelp develop, build and manage client relationships
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of audit and attest servicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsClient service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of managementStrong organizational skills and detail orientedStrong analytical, mathematical and critical thinking abilitiesShows ambition, drive, and takes initiative for all tasksAbility to multitask and handle several engagements at a time, while working independentlyMicrosoft Office proficiency
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related degree, accounting preferredCPA or CPA candidateMinimum of 3 years of public accounting experience requiredExperience with tax preparation and review services is a plus
Additional:
This is a 60% in-office and 40% remote hybrid position in St Louis, MO.
