Senior Accountant

Join our dynamic FinTech firm as a key player in our financial team. We are seeking a diligent and detail-focused professional who excels in financial analysis and reporting. In this role, you will ensure precision in month-end processes, drive accurate financial reviews, and engage with company leadership regularly. While our U.S. headquarters in Alpharetta is set to open in six months, you will work entirely remotely until then, transitioning to a hybrid schedule afterward.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute comprehensive month-end closing activities. Draft and implement journal entries, maintaining data fidelity. Conduct in-depth reconciliations of balance-sheet accounts, swiftly addressing any variances. Collaborate on monthly financial statements, offering insights on performance variations. Handle calculations and reporting of accruals and prepayments to capture accurate financial positioning. Streamline intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring consolidation integrity. Provide financial analysis to guide decision-making and enhance processes. Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accounting standards. Support both internal and external audits with accurate documentation. Continuously seek and drive efficiency improvements in financial processes.

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred with over five years of experience in a corporate or public accounting setting. Experience in high-growth startups is an asset. Familiarity with modern productivity tools, like Claude Cowork, is desirable. Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite (preferred), QuickBooks, or Oracle. Solid knowledge of US GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS. Demonstrated ability in analytical and problem-solving scenarios. Notable attention to detail and precision. Capacity to navigate and manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
