Our client, a rapidly growing organization in Irving, Texas , is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join its team on a direct-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys digging into the numbers, solving problems and taking ownership of key financial processes. You'll join a collaborative team and play an important role in month-end close, financial reporting and the continued growth of the organization. Why You'll Want to Explore This Opportunity Competitive salary: $70,000-$90,,000 annually Profit-sharing bonus potential Hybrid schedule: Four days onsite and one day remote Direct-hire opportunity with a growing organization Opportunity to gain exposure across multiple areas of accounting High-visibility role with interaction across the organization Comprehensive benefits package What You'll Be Doing As the Senior Staff Accountant, you'll help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the monthly close process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing the general ledger and financial reports for accuracy and completeness Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations Preparing invoices and allocation schedules for complex consolidated billings Preparing and posting routine and non-routine journal entries , including depreciation, amortization and accruals Playing an active role in the month-end close process Researching financial variances and anomalies and preparing correcting journal entries when needed Partnering with colleagues across the organization to answer financial questions and resolve accounting issues Helping maintain accurate, organized and reliable financial records and processes What We're Looking For You could be a great fit if you bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 2+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines Benefits Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families, including: Medical, dental and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer matching contributions Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Disability and life insurance Paid vacation and sick leave Paid holidays Paid pregnancy and new parent leave Teladoc services
