Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Consultant to support accounting and financial reporting for a global manufacturing business with operations in the U.S. and International. This position will focus on month-end close, cost accounting, inventory, financial analysis, budgeting, and maintaining strong internal controls. Responsibilities Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, general ledger activity, account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting for U.S. and International operations. Perform manufacturing cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, standard costing, PPV, overhead, COGS, reserves, and variance analysis. Monitor inventory and manufacturing results, analyze spending against budgets and forecasts, and communicate variances and recommendations to management. Assist with budgets, forecasts, working capital analysis, sales reporting, audits, and European VAT/CBS reporting. Support internal controls, fixed asset accounting, special projects, and financial analysis for senior management. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Accounting from an accredited 4-year college/university.

MBA preferred. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing and cost accounting, including inventory, standard costing, COGS, PPV, overhead, and variance analysis. Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP PRD or
SAP S/4HANA

Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
