Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Cost Accountant - Hybrid (Vancouver, WA) CV Resources is partnering with a rapidly growing, industry-leading manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Cost Accountant for a high-impact role supporting their expanding operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with 50+ years of success in manufacturing , experiencing significant growth and investment across its operations. About the Opportunity This role serves as a key right-hand to the Cost Accounting Manager , supporting a key manufacturing division. You'll play a critical role in cost analysis, inventory valuation, and operational reporting , with strong visibility to leadership and the ability to influence decision-making. Key Responsibilities Analyze manufacturing costs and identify efficiency opportunities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual cost accounting close processes Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights Maintain cost accounting systems and ensure GL accuracy Evaluate labor and equipment utilization across operations Manage inventory valuation and reporting Prepare financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and cost accounting standards Partner cross-functionally with operations and budgeting teams
What We're Looking For Required:
5+ years of cost accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting Experience in production/manufacturing environments Advanced data analysis and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
