This is a 100% onsite role.

We are a growing, public accounting firm with multiple offices across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. Founded and led by CPAs with Big 4, mid-tier, and super-regional firm experience, we provide audit, tax, advisory, and CFO services to businesses and individuals across industries including technology, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and retail.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant OR Accounting Manager to lead our growing team. This leader will manage a portfolio of client engagements across tax, assurance, and advisory services, mentor junior staff, and serve as a trusted point of contact for our business and individual clients. This is a high-visibility role with a clear path toward Manager and Partner-track opportunities for CPAs (or CPA candidates) ready to take ownership of their career.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corps, C-corps, trusts, and non-profitsPlan, execute, and document audit, review, and compilation engagements in accordance with GAAP and GAASPrepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules with accuracy and timelinessConduct tax research on complex issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and partnersProvide proactive tax planning and advisory guidance to help clients minimize liability and achieve their goalsSupport CFO advisory engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, KPI reporting, and month-end/year-end closeBuild and maintain strong client relationships through clear, responsive, and professional communicationMentor, review work of, and develop staff accountants and internsStay current on changes in tax law, accounting standards, and regulatory requirementsAssist partners with special projects, process improvements, and firm initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field8+ years of public accounting experienceCPA license, or actively pursuing CPA (meaningful progress toward the exam expected)Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, federal and state tax law, and audit proceduresProficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar) and Microsoft ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlinesAuthorization to work in the United States; we do not provide sponsorship.

Please note:

This role will require you to be onsite and possibly driving to client sites as well. You need to be client facing.

You must be able and willing to adapt to new technologies and software as our firm adds and implements software and AI in our practice. If you are not technologically inclined, you should note that there will be considerable difficulty on the job
