Full-time, hybrid Position Overview A global technology manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Accountant for its North American operation in Southern California. This position will take ownership of core accounting activities while supporting manufacturing cost analysis, SAP reporting, internal controls, and coordination with the company's international headquarters. This is a hands-on individual contributor position suited for someone who can independently manage detailed accounting work, investigate discrepancies, and improve the accuracy of financial and operational reporting. What You'll Do Manage assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close Prepare and review journal entries, balance-sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules Analyze financial results and investigate budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances Produce accurate financial information in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Perform manufacturing cost analysis involving bills of materials, inventory valuation, standard costs, and production variances Use

SAP FI/CO

extensively to research transactions, validate financial data, and support reporting accuracy Reconcile and coordinate intercompany activity with overseas entities Assist with SOX documentation, control testing, and process improvements Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors Collaborate with operations, finance leadership, and the Asia-based corporate office Support financial reporting and accounting projects related to IPO readiness What We're Looking For Approximately 8 or more years of progressive accounting experience Strong, hands-on experience using SAP ERP; FI/CO experience is highly preferred Practical manufacturing cost accounting experience Experience with BOM analysis, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variance analysis Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial close procedures Professional fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese Ability to work independently, identify issues, and follow through to resolution Experience in electronics, automotive, or another manufacturing environment is strongly preferred Previous experience with multinational operations is preferred CPA or CMA designation is a plus SOX compliance, external audit support, or pre-IPO experience is a strong plus Why Join Visible accounting role with direct impact on financial accuracy and operational decision-making Exposure to international operations and cross-border accounting Opportunity to develop IPO-readiness and SOX compliance experience Established manufacturing organization with long-term growth potential Hybrid work flexibility Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Paid sick time
